You'll learn how to practice consent, navigate conflict, communicate your needs, and build connections that don't suck.

How to Intervene When Someone is Being Creepy

Ever find yourself witnessing someone engaging in ways that make your stomach feel uneasy? You know, like not taking no for an answer, yelling and humiliating their partner, or crossing the line into stalker territory? It's not easy to know what to do in those moments. That's where our workshop comes in. We'll give you the tools to intervene when you witness sexual violence, dating violence, and stalking. And tips for creating a campus community that supports survivors and doesn’t tolerate harm.

Dating Violence & Its Intersections With Systems of Oppression

Learn about the complex dynamics of dating/domestic violence and how it’s shaped by systems of power, privilege, and oppression like racism, sexism, and homophobia. By exploring behavioral science principles, we'll provide you with empowering tools for positively shifting your peers' everyday actions, communicating effectively, and increasing student engagement.

Tools for Centralizing Marginalized Communities in Your Prevention Work

Discover how people’s identities, such as race, gender identity, sexuality and class intersect to shape their unique lived experiences, including those of survivors of sexual violence. Through engaging discussions, interactive activities, and real-world examples, this workshop will provide you with strategies to effectively apply intersectionality in your violence prevention efforts.

How to Centralize Prevention Norms Across Campus

How can you establish culture change? How can you creatively reach your peers? In this workshop, we'll explore the key frameworks, values, and components of an effective sexual violence prevention program. In addition, we’ll brainstorm innovative projects and outreach strategies you can implement on your campus.

Harnessing the Power of Social Media to Reach Your Peers

Learn tools for engaging your campus community through social media, including reels, TikTok trends, hook-lines, story features, and more. By the end of this workshop, you will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to utilize social media effectively, ensuring your messages reach a wider audience while promoting prevention messages on your campus.

Calling In & Addressing Sticky Situations

As you educate others about sexual violence, sticky situations can arise such as encountering victim-blaming comments or attitudes. During this interactive session, we will explore practical tools and techniques to skillfully engage with individuals who hold differing perspectives. You will learn how to call in and meet people where they are, fostering understanding and empathy while navigating sensitive topics.
