Time to do prevention differently

July 14, 2026

Time to do prevention differently ⭐ July 14, 2026 ⭐

Does any of this sound familiar?

  • You spend weeks planning events, only for a few students to show up.

  • You attend prevention webinars that teach theory and frameworks, but don’t give you the tools to implement them.

  • You know traditional prevention messaging and programming isn't working with young people, but you're unsure what will.

Tired of no one showing up to your prevention programming? Spend one day with us and leave with three things you can use immediately: a creative preventionist model to ground your work, a Fall-Spring engagement plan, and a support buddy to check in with post-summit.

Primarily designed for campus sexual violence preventionists (or those that collaborate closely with colleges).

⚞What you’ll learn⚟

Through interactive activities, group discussions, and examples of the strategies in action, you’ll work on 3 core areas of creative prevention:

Spark Interest: How to get young people to show up. Tabling that grabs their attention, social media content they’ll want to heart, and outreach that gets them excited to engage with your program.

Shift Behaviors: How to design workshops and programs that centralize behavior change. Skill-building activities that energize students and identity-based messaging that connects to young people’s values and interests.

Stick the New Norms: How to get buy-in from influential students. How to embed prevention messaging in events and physical spaces across campus.

By the end of the day, you'll leave with a complete, customized engagement plan you can implement on your campus this year.

⭐And when you apply these strategies, you’ll be able to….⭐

People at a table with various craft supplies outdoors, participating in artistic activities at an event.
A group of young students sitting around a table, holding green and yellow flags and smiling. The table has papers, cards, and craft supplies. The setting includes bookshelves and a brick wall.
Four people standing together at an indoor event, holding colorful cards or artwork, smiling, with chairs in the background. The photo has a caption that says, 'Create culture change in your community!'.

⚞What to Expect⚟

Based on what participants have shared about our previous webinars:

“This was the first webinar I've attended that was this engaging, as well as talked about engaging youth this in depth. I don't normally take notes, but I took so many notes and got so much out of this!”

“I loved the chat! Loved everyone sharing ideas! The positivity and encouragement of the presenters is infectious.”

“There were TONS of new ideas for me to implement as well as the opportunity for me to acknowledge what I need to change in order to engage students more.”

“So many ‘prevention’ trainings aren't prevention- they're awareness. This felt like a valuable training for people who work in prevention (not a 101 but a 201). I actually learned stuff!!!”

“Honestly, this was so validating for me professionally. I've found it difficult to find spaces where people are engaging in conversation about behavior change. Today provided some unexpected energy and inspiration!”

“In about two decades of social justice work, I struggle to think of trainings that sent me off feeling more impressed or inspired. Y'all are absolutely rockin’ it.”
